Summary
Practice Description
Psychotherapy can be a powerful tool to recognize the strengths that you’ve overlooked, along with identifying your needs and re-examining how you relate to yourself and to others. I specialize in helping people take an active role in addressing the uncertainty that life brings and in moving through the impasse of feeling stuck. Perhaps you realize that fear or anxiety is holding you back from doing what you enjoy or from achieving life goals. Maybe the changes you are experiencing feel overwhelming. Or, you find that you have a critical inner voice that makes you believe you are not good or likable enough.
With a mixture of empathy and compassion, along with a strength-based approach, I aim to increase your confidence in confronting and overcoming challenges that can lead you to a more fulfilling life ahead. Our therapeutic collaboration can help you to unearth your inherent resilience and to overcome the challenges you face within a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard. Drawing from my clinical training and experiences in schools, hospitals, and private clinics, I utilize research-informed practices using a tailored approach to help you understand the underlying causes of stress and difficult emotions. I can introduce you to evidence-based coping strategies and a different perspective that will allow for further exploration. It is with gratitude and humility that I walk along this journey with you.
