Summary

Practice Description
Are you exploring and working to understand your racial, ethnic. and/or cultural identity? Had difficult experiences connected to your identity? Are you anxious about your health or visiting doctor(s)? Trying to cope with your health condition? I’m here to help. Whether you are a teen, young adult, or older adult, we can work together to develop skills, find your new normal, identify and move toward goals that align with your values, and process and explore your experiences related to your racial, ethnic, and/or cultural identity. In a supportive and safe environment, we will explore your internal and external experiences, learn and practice skills (such as mindfulness), and engage in exercises to help you connect with your values.

I am a second-generation Chinese American who was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley with parents who immigrated from Taiwan. I identify as an Asian American feminist and am keenly aware of the dynamics of privilege and oppression. I also appreciate that folx who identify as being within the Asian and Asian American diaspora have a broad range of experiences which may or may not resemble my own. In my practice, I have specific interest in working with Asian and Asian American (broadly defined) individuals. I also have some understanding and strive to work in culturally responsive ways with individuals who belong to marginalized groups.

You are the expert of your life and experiences; I hope to bring my knowledge, experience, and understanding to walk alongside and assist you in reaching your goals.
