Summary

Practice Description
I provide psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological evaluations to children and adults in English, Cantonese, or Mandarin. Most of my clients seek evaluations due to inattention (ADHD), mood disorders, anxiety, learning difficulties, social communication differences (ASD), and challenges at work, school, or home. I emphasize the impact of sociocultural factors on the examinee's symptoms, experiences, and functioning. The goals of an evaluation are to clarify the diagnosis and offer recommendations to improve one's functioning. I also offer immigration-related (e.g., N-648) and independent education evaluations (IEEs).

In addition, I offer telehealth psychotherapy to private-pay clients and Lyra or Modern Health members. My clinical expertise includes trauma, grief, loss, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I am trained in EMDR and use it regularly with clients. I also provide psychological support to individuals with issues related to life transitions, acculturation, relationships, parenting, work stress, and women’s issues.

My assessment and therapy approach is relational, collaborative, and strength-based. I focus on building resilience, strengthening internal resources, instilling hope, enhancing confidence, and increasing capacity to manage stressors. I am bicultural and connect well with people of color and immigrants from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
