I center my work around relationships because I believe almost all of our emotional struggles (including conditions such as depression) stem from them. We are social creatures and we form our identities, discover our strengths, and find fulfillment in the context of relationships. In my work with you, I can help you build an understanding of your relational/ attachment pattern - why you react to others the way you do, and what keeps you from connecting. I can also help you figure out what your needs are in relationships, how to communicate effectively, set appropriate boundaries, and develop deep and meaningful relationships. I received a doctorate degree in clinical psychology, and have over a decade of experience working with individuals and couples. I practice from a culturally-responsive foundation, and I have extensive experience working with Asian population and other people of color facing issues with identity, interracial relationships, and intergenerational conflicts.
