Summary
Practice Description
Therapy looks different for every individual. It can look like helping a teen develop the tools and personal insight to deal with the change of going through high school and then college, working with parents who are struggling with new family additions or stressors, or encouraging a young professional to explore phase of life changes and identifying useful stress management strategies to create their ideal work-life balance. I have over a decade of experience providing therapy to young adults as well as teens in the middle and high school settings, and balance providing strategy-based support with helping clients explore their individual sense of identity and future goals. As an AAPI therapist, I practice with the awareness of challenges that are specific to this community within the scope of mental health. My role as a therapist is to provide a safe space for you to be able to work through your current challenges, and provide suggestions to strategies that can help you cope. I come from a strength-based perspective and aim to build upon the strengths you already have. Therapy is a collaborative process and you are not in the process alone.
