I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I help people gain a sense of control by teaching them effective ways to communicate, regulate their emotions, and improve interpersonal relationships to bring about needed change. I work collaboratively with my clients and their families so they can improve their quality of life and thrive. I treat anxiety, depression, and trauma. I support individuals going through life transitions. I am a culturally sensitive therapist and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I have specialized training to treat women coping with mental health complications during and after pregnancy. As a child/adolescent psychologist I work with parents who have children ranging from infants to teenage years.
