Summary
Practice Description
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with experience in a variety of settings including community mental health, university counseling and end-of-life psychotherapy. My clinical focus includes Grief and Loss, Systemic Oppression, Race, Trauma and intersecting identities. I practice from a liberation psychology, decolonial, and relational lens. I am committed to advocating for those who feel "othered" by their identities.
The current framework of "mental illness" tells us that we are the problem. You are not the problem. I hope to be able to liberate your suffering by engaging your inherent worthiness and enhancing your access to spaces that allow you to feel authentic and safe (rather than deficient, alone, wrong).
